Ever since Equity Exchange opened its doors in 1919, we have taken a lot of pride in championing the rural communities we serve. These towns are where our customers, member-owners and employees live, so their success is just as important as ours. Many of our employees engage in community service projects throughout the year.
While our focus isn't on accolades, we were honored to receive the Corporate Citizen of the Year award from the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce in 2017. Supporting our community is ingrained in our values, and we've proudly sponsored various non-profit organizations and events in the past, including:
- County Livestock Shows
- The Panhandle Crisis Center
- Perryton Rotary Club Cherry Pie Contest
- Multiple Chambers of Commerce Events
- The Cates Family Softball Tournament
- Ochiltree County Soil and Water Conservation District
- American Legion Boys and Girls State
- Kiwanis Auction
- Lions Club
- Perryton and Booker High School Boys and Girls Sports Broadcasts
- Top of Texas Music Festival
- Perryton Rodeo Association
- Perryton FFA
- Spearman Ag Supporters
- Darrouzett Deutsches Fest
- Agrilife Extension Meetings
- After Prom Parties at Area Schools
